The PMReview has been running for a long time. We have downsized from paying $$$$ per month. The charge for the video portion hosted by Vimeo was doubled without them asking us permission... and impossible to find a phone number to talk with them and ask why. The cost of hosting was huge... and PayPal took their percentage. Now the total cost is almost zero as of August 1, 2023.

I have converted it back to my original "lab notes" of long ago. Before August 1, 2023, it was high-tech. It's much less fancy now than it has been, because the goal has always been to make it possible for people trying to pass their insurance agent exam without being hit hard financially. To my knowledge, the PMReview was the first online study aid for Life / Health / Annuities courses in the USA. Only A.D.Banker was ahead of us with their floppy disk (remember those?). And their floppy disk version had only 200 questions or less at the time. Many people have copied what we did even to the point of stealing our questions and charging a lot for their online product. Time to get back at them. Often times, our users thought we were better, anyway.

This format is nothing other than those "lab notes." I don't want to work any harder on this since I'm presenting it for free!

I am kind of retired. I wrote the PMReview in .html (the code of websites) originally, more than 30 years ago. A good friend later converted it to .aspx format. We changed it because the passwords were not unique in the beginning, and several "ethical" education schools in Florida bought one password and passed it out to their classes, telling them that they had written the PMReview. Honesty is sometimes lacking in business when there is a profit to be made, even in the insurance and financial arena. My friend who fixed things into unique passwords for each user has since passed away. Since it's free, I hope you will enjoy the use of it and be patient while I have a good look at my notes again, and eventually finish the project between my recliner sessions.

Spread the word! Gary's free PMReview is available. 1) If you like using this, 2) if it causes you to pass, and 3) if you like the idea, send me a thank-you in the form of a $ bill. That would be fun and it would be appreciated. Include your email address so I can respond to you without using a stamp.

Study hard. And often. Someday, I'll add a section on a few of the funny stories that have happened through the years with students at PMReview. Some 20 years ago, we started getting students who were the children of the original students. Now we have been getting the grandchildren of the originals who want to be as successful in the insurance field as grandpa and grandma.

Onward and upward!
