How current are the PMReview Questions?

The PMReview questions are continually updated as the state changes their exam questions which they do on a regular basis. We change the PMReview frequently. There is a major change each year when the new edition of the textbook goes into effect. This year, on January 1st, 2010, the questions changed to the 24th edition.

Therefore, when you are reading the information, and particularly the explanations of the answers in the PMReview, you need to be aware that the answers may disagree with your older edition. It would benefit you to have the current edition.

We hear every once in a while that a class instructor will tell a student asking about the PMReview that it is out of date, or not very good, or hard to use. Our tendency is to 1). get mad, or 2). laugh. We laugh. Consider this picture: the instructor is standing there with a $29.95 (or $39.95, or $79.95) product in his/her hands advising you on the merits of something that competes with their product. Don't laugh (your instructor could react poorly), but you might be wise to check around.

It is also wise to read the comments from examinees as to what their observations are after taking recent exams. Those comments are in the "Other" section, inside the PMReview along with the test taking hints.
