You are here: Home > Online 40-Hour Class
We have partnered with the Florida Insurance Licensing Association School to offer the Florida 40-hour course, which is completely ONLINE including the final exam for the course (you don't have to drive somewhere in the rain to take the test). This course is one part of the preparation for students who wish to take the 2-15 exam for the Florida Life, Health and Variable Annuities license. This also authorizes the student to take either the 2-14 exam for the Life and Annuities license, or the 2-40 exam for the Health license if the combination license is not needed. This is not a timed course. If it takes you less than 40 hours, you are not penalized.
The cost of the course is $130 which includes:
- The 40-Hour 2-15 Pre-licensing class LIVE and ONLINE
- PMReview 800 Question Practice Exam and Review for 60 days
- The ZØØM BØØK - an explanation of the 1ØØ most important exam topics
- LIVE ONLINE PMReview Schools Review class – 2 days at 4 hours per day
A word to the wise: you may have heard that the pass-rate for ONLINE courses available in the past was rather dismal. There is quite a bit of truth to that. There are several reasons, but we have addressed that issue by using a more comprehensive ONLINE course and have combined that with the 800 question PMReview ONLINE Practice Exam and the 2-day LIVE ONLINE Review Class. The PMReview Practice Exam has been available in Florida for more than fourteen years, with Georgia and Alabama following closely behind. Our ONLINE study review has been very successful for that length of time simply because it works. It is interactive and contains information as to why the right answer is correct as well as why the wrong answers are wrong. It is state-specific to Florida.
You will be able to download a course-completion certificate at the conclusion of the course. That is what is needed to qualify you to take the state exam through the Pearson VUE testing company. Your results of the 40-hour course will automatically be sent to the State of Florida Office of Insurance Regulation so you won't have to send the certificate to them. However, if they don't get it, you can fax or send the certificate to them directly.
At the conclusion of the ONLINE 40-hour course, you should then use the PMReview 800 question ONLINE Practice Exam, which is supplied to you as a part of this package. When you are ready, go through the normal ordering process on our site, and when the credit card number is needed in our form, instead of using a credit card number, put "FILA40" into the credit card line which stands for Florida Insurance Licensing Association 40 hour on-line class. You will still need to choose a valid expiration date. You can make that one up, but choose a date in the future. This will automatically provide you with the username and password for the pmreview.com study material. Then remember to do the third part of the sequence: register on the pmreview.com site to attend the 2-day cram course review shortly before you are going to take the state exam. When you are ready for this part, check the calendar on our website if you have not already done so, to determine which dates are best for you for the 2-day PMReview Schools LIVE ONLINE Review Class. It will put all the pieces together before the test. This 2-day review is also available in Spanish.
Click on the link below to register for the 40-hour on-line class. The dollar amount you will see is $170. You will then be able to choose if you wish to have the NAIFA of Florida book sent to you, or if you have one and wish to decline that option, you will automatically reduce the price $40 (on the credit card page, there is a button that says, "Remove the book"). Therefore, the final cost is $130 without the book, or $170 (plus S&H and tax which is about $13.00) if you wish the book sent to you from us in Orlando.
If you would like a more detailed explanation of all of this, or wish to ask questions, call our office: 352-331-2987. We will assist you with the process.
